Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Bridgewell Health.

Eligibility

To use Bridgewell Health services, you must be at least 18 years of age. Our services are available only to residents of states where Bridgewell Health holds a valid telehealth license. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and must keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at support@bridgewellhealth.example. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Subscription and Billing

Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the listed price. By subscribing, you authorize Bridgewell Health to charge your payment method on file on each renewal date unless you cancel before that date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your patient portal, going to Account Settings, and selecting Manage Subscription, then Cancel. You may also cancel by contacting support@bridgewellhealth.example. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access to your account through the end of the period for which you have already paid and will not be charged for the following month.

Refund policy: If you have not yet had a clinical visit, you are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of your first charge. After a clinical visit has taken place, we cannot refund the current billing period. Refund requests must be submitted to support@bridgewellhealth.example within the applicable window. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Price changes: We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any increase in your subscription price. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Telehealth Limits

Bridgewell Health does not provide emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use Bridgewell Health to seek treatment for any emergency condition.

Telehealth has inherent limitations. Our clinicians may not be able to diagnose or treat all conditions remotely. If your condition requires in-person evaluation, your clinician will advise you accordingly.

Controlled substances: We cannot prescribe controlled substances (including stimulants, benzodiazepines, and opioids) without a prior in-person examination, as required by federal law. Bridgewell Health providers will not prescribe Schedule II–IV controlled substances through our platform under any circumstances.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Bridgewell Health services to:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, including fraudulent insurance claims or false medical histories.
  • Access or attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with our services.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from any part of our platform.
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Use the services in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Bridgewell Health platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, and clinical content — is owned by or licensed to Bridgewell Health, Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property for commercial purposes or to create derivative works without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any health information you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide and improve your care.

Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIDGEWELL HEALTH'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO BRIDGEWELL HEALTH IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. IN NO EVENT WILL BRIDGEWELL HEALTH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the services that is not resolved informally shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
